Collection consists of 55 outgoing letters (1921-1952); holograph short story manuscripts; and a typescript speech for the opening of the Authors' World Peace Appeal Conference, 1951. Recipients of letters include Frederick T. Bason, Adrian Brunel, Lawrence Drake, Gilbert H. Fabes, Robert Greacen, Isaac Levine, Bruce Marshall, Frederic Prokosch, and Jacob Schwartz, among others.

De la Mare, Walter, 1873-1956.

Papers of the English poet, novelist. Collection includes correspondence, including 152 outgoing items written between 1909 and 1956. Several of the letters involve social arrangements, however there are also many references to De la Mare's early career as a writer and his association with various literary figures of the time. Outgoing letters to Margot Asquith, Nancy Astor, Denys Blakelock, Richard Church, Havelock Ellis, Montgomery Evans, Eleanor Farjeon, Ruth Mayhew Head, Mary Elizabeth Hughes, Henry F. Papers of the British author, novelist, poet, journalist. Includes correspondence, writings, and memorabilia of Kipling himself, well as research material from a number of private collections. Kipling material consists of correspondence, totaling over 950 items (over 750 authored by Kipling); writings, including manuscript (handwritten and typed) and published versions of Kipling's prose, speeches, verse and dramatic works; memorabilia (legal material, photographs, portraits and caricatures); printed materials; writings by others; and miscellany. The private collections consist of Kipling material formerly owned by H.H. and S.S. McClure, E.W. Martindell, and Alan D. Wilson.
